Energy Performance
From October 1st 2008, all buildings whenever they are sold, built or rented will need an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). The certificate provides energy efficiency ratings on an A-G scale and recommendations for improvement. The ratings are similar to those found on household products such as fridges and are standard so the efficiency of one building can easily be compared with another building of a similar type.
Firefly Risk Solutions can offer a full service to meet your energy assessment needs. Our accredited energy assessors are able to carry out assessments on domestic, commercial and public buildings. For commercial and public buildings, we offer SBEM/DSM and DEC assessments. Working with a CLG-approved accreditation body means that we are also able to issue the required Energy Performance Certificates, as well as Display Energy Certificates for public buildings.
